A Prayer for Healing for a Friend

Prayer for Healing for a Friend–No one is an island. God deliberately set some people around your life to play one role or the other. Whenever such people are in distress, it is our duty as believers to help them. If any of them is ill, this prayer is yours to offer on his/her behalf.

These healing prayers and Bible verses will guide you through your intercession for your friend.

“And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him” (James 5:15).

If your friend is physically ill or sick in spirit, pray these prayers out in faith and believe that the Lord will heal your friend from all sicknesses and pain.

PRAYER FOR HEALING FOR A FRIEND

I thank you Jehovah Rapha, you are the Lord that heals. Thank You for my friend, thank you because I know your thoughts about my friend are thoughts of good and not of evil, thank you because whenever, I call you, you answer.

“If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.” Exodus 15:26 

Lord, you said in your word that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, therefore, I commit my friend (mention name) into your hands and I ask that you heal my friend from all his/her sicknesses, diseases or infirmities. 

” And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.” James 5:15

Send your word into my friends’ spirit, soul, and body and heal all her from her sicknesses. I decree that each of my friend’s body system and organ begin to function well in Jesus name

“He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.” Psalm 107:20

Increase my friends’ faith that he/she may also be strengthened to conquer every form of doubt and cling on your promises for total healing. 

Give him/her the strength to get through, restore his/her health and grant him/her your peace.

 I speak life into my friends’ spirit, soul and body In Jesus’ name. Amen

“Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

My faith is firm in You, Father, that my friend is healed. For Your word says,

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them , and ye shall have them” (Mark 11:24).

Now decree these words into your friends’ life

• I declare that by your stripes lord, my friend is completely healed
• I declare that the Holy Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in my friend, therefore sickness is not permitted
• I declare that my friends’ body is the temple of the Lord Jesus christ
• I speak to my friends’ muscles, bones and joints receive the healing power of God
• Thank you for sending your word to heal my friend. Amen
