Prayer for Healthy Pregnancy: Pregnancy is the act of
carrying a developing offspring in the body. It is a thing of joy,
and is in consonance with obeying the divine command for
multiplication.

“And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be
fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth” (Genesis 9:1).

Therefore, it is the will of God for pregnancy to be carried in
good conditions. Apart from correct diets and exercises,
prayer is one of the factors needed to carry a healthy
pregnancy.

“And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was
barren: and the Lord was intreated of him, and Rebekah his
wife conceived. And the children struggled together within her;
and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to
enquire of the Lord” (Genesis 25:21-22).

God is the One who knows how a baby is formed in its
mother’s womb. Only He knows how best to preserve it.

“As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the
bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so
thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all”
(Ecclesiastes 11:5).

Attention should be given to medical prescriptions for having a
healthy pregnancy, then it should be supported with prayers.
You need not know who is pregnant before praying for her.
She is part of the co-laborers with God in the preservation of

mankind. Several experiences which deviate from normal
experiences are known with periods of pregnancy. And even if
the pregnancy was unplanned for, the baby on its way is
innocent. It is another destiny coming to happen. It needs
prayers.

Prayer for Healthy Pregnancy

Thanksgiving: Father of Creation, thank You for the
responsibility of humanity to share in helping to bring more of
its kind to the world. Thank You for every pregnant woman.
Grace to carry the pregnancy: Lord, bless all pregnant
women with the grace to successfully carry through with their
pregnancies to completion in Jesus name.
“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a
good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ”
(Philippians 1:6).
Prevention of complications: Father, let there be no
complications in any pregnancy in Jesus name. Whatever is
short of its correct quality and quantity shall be restored to
normal in Jesus name. I rebuke shortage of blood, oxygen,
and all the essentials needed for the health of both mother
and fetus in Jesus name.
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that
ye, always having all sufficiency in all things , may abound to
every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).
Divine covering: Father, overshadow all pregnant daughters
of Zion with glory in Jesus name. Protect their babies and
them from access by the evil ones in Jesus name.

“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman
clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon
her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child
cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there
appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red
dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns
upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of
heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood
before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to
devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth
a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and
her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne”
(Revelation 12:1-5).
Appreciation: Thank You Father for answered prayers. In
