Prayer For Loss Of A Loved One – The pain of separation from a loved one is always intense and grieving is our natural response to loss. It’s human to mourn the loss of a loved one. Even Jesus wept when he heard about the death of his friend Lazarus.

As someone who has also experienced the loss of loved ones I truly know what you are going through. The feelings of sadness, hurt, shock, anger, disappointment, disbelief, or guilt happens all at the same time but I want you to have this in mind that the LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18.

One of the most important parts of the healing process comes through prayers and scriptures and it’s my prayers that the holy spirit will pour his oil of gladness on your hurting soul as you pray these prayers in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Thank You, Lord, because you give and take away. Thank you for the life he/she lived though gone too soon but Lord, I know your ways are higher than ours. Though we may not understand the reason now but we will understand when we see you.

Please keep and hold me in this time of sadness give relief to my weary heart Lord, help me not to question you in this difficult times and help my faith to stand firm

I come against every lie and deceit of the devil trying to make me depressed, sick, and tired. I receive a new strength from you oh Lord to be able to rise up again from my mourning and put my hope in you knowing fully well that one day that I will see my loved one with you in glory.

Assurance:

Help me to have this assurance in my heart that I will be able to see my loved ones one day when I am done with my journey here on earth I will also come to join you and I will see the ones I’ve missed so much. Oh, what a glorious day that will be. Amen!
