Prayer for My Husband – I am one myself and understand what it means to be a husband. So glad you are considering praying for the man in your life. Because there are days where a man is discouraged, sick, afraid, unsure, unclear, or even completely lost in his journey… It takes a sensitive wife to catch the delicate moments that need prayer.

Husband 

The head, provider, protector, comforter, encourager, leader, friend, brother, mentor, and many more.

 As the head of the home, your husband needs prayers so he can successfully and continually be the right coverage for your family as well as fulfill his calling. Whatever happens to him would have effects on the family.

May the Lord God give you the grace and clarity on how exactly to pray for him without ceasing. 

 

PRAYER FOR MY HUSBAND

Thank you for blessing me with this wonderful man (insert his name). A man who loves and serves the Lord. Thank you for our marriage, our home, our finances, and everything you’ve blessed us with.

Lord, may your grace keep him for me. Let him love You with all his heart, for then can he truly love me.

Let Your light shine on his ways so he can prosper in all he does. Continue to help him make progress with the talents and skills you have given him. Let the heavens be opened over his career, his health, and all his ways but let him realize that all these skills and abilities come from you alone.

Lord empty my husband from anything that doesn’t glorify You. Give him the desire to always long, and thirst after the things of God. Continue to draw him nearer unto you day by day so that in everything he does, he will always find contentment in you and not in the pleasures of this world.

Surround him with godly counsels and godly friends and help him also to be a blessing to others around him.

Lead him not into temptation, and for every temptation that comes his way, provide a way of escape for him. Protect him in all his going out and coming in and deliver him from every form of evil today and forevermore.

I pray Lord that you will continue to strengthen our bond, may the love you’ve put in our relationship continue to grow stronger each day.

Mold me into the wife that is fit for him. Help me to walk in your design for me as a wife. To be appreciative, loving, kind, tender, loyal, and respectful to him.

Mold him into the husband that is fit for me. Help him to be a good example for our family to follow, to be noble, kind, steadfast in his faith, and give him the courage to stand for the truth.

Bind us together in your love that cannot be broken and let our home be filled with your love, joy, happiness, and peace and through us, let our children desire a godly marriage.
