Prayer for the End of the Day

Prayer for the End of the Day–You have been up since morning, and had gone to work, the church, school, the cinema, games, and whatever activities that spent your energy, and has retired for the day.  No matter how good and careful you had been, it was God who sustained you.

Prayer for the end of day

Our father in heaven deserves to get the reports for our activities, our gratitude for His help, and would gladly want to hear us pour our heart to Him for what is next. You just can’t miss this great opportunity to communicate with the Lord of the universe.

Every day we wake up, our time is ticking farther from our birth and closer to the realization of the purpose for that birth. And for each day, a portion of that purpose is expected to be accomplished.

[su_note note_color=”#725306″ text_color=”#ffffff”]“To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1).[/su_note]

Most times, each day’s activities run from morning till evening, and as we retire for the day, we must remember that nothing we had achieved for the day could have been possible without the help of God.

[su_note note_color=”#21759b” text_color=”#ffffff”]“Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labor until the evening.” Psalm 104:23.[/su_note]

If God is this faithful, He deserves your attention, dedication, and constant communication with Him. He wants fellowship with you every time of the day, and particularly at the end of each day. As each day rounds-off, you need to dialog with the Lord and share with Him how your day went, and He’ll tuck you into bed, to be refreshed for the next day.

PRAYER FOR THE END OF THE DAY

Father, thank You for today and all its activities. Thank You for security, provisions, favor, and wisdom to go about my activities today.

[su_note note_color=”#008080″ text_color=”#ffffff”]“Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits” (Psalm 103:1-2).[/su_note]

Father, my day went well because you were involved. The accolades given to me today, I give them back to You. All the successes of my endeavors today, I ascribe to You.

[su_note note_color=”#505655″ text_color=”#ffffff”]“Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain” (Psalm 127:1). [/su_note]

As I go to sleep, let me be refreshed. I do not worry about tomorrow, because it is in Your hands.

[su_note note_color=”#711f01″ text_color=”#ffffff”]“…for so He giveth His beloved sleep” (Psalm 127:2).[/su_note]

Thank You for answered prayers. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
